Yucatan Taco Stand is fairly new in Frisco. I have fallen in love with their Tequila Lime chicken tacos. They have just the right amount of tang and the chicken is always moist and shredded to the consistency of shaved ice. I wish I could figure out how to shred it so well at home. They add cabbage, instead of lettuce, which supplies an enjoyable unexpected flavor. Petite orders the cheese quesadillas, which are always perfectly toasted with what I can guess is white cheddar and sharp Cheddar inside. The children's quesadillas come with a side of black beans and pilaf rice, which I feel is a nice compliment. The serving size is always just right. The only exception is the nacho plate, which as you can see above is monstrous. The nachos can easily feed a table of 4.
Our recent outing was even more enjoyable with the addition of live music, courtesy of Adrian Garza. He had the smoothest voice and it was perfect for a summer evening on the patio. Adrian also plays at the YTS location in Fort Worth on Magnolia.
